day 2

Okay, let's start with the best part of the day: I got to sleep 'til 10! I wanted to see Russ Hamilton at 10:25, but I was a tad hungover with a pretty intense headache. Tylenol was involved. Along with Mountain Dew and Cheerios. Thankfully, I was well enough by Dick and Matt's panel and did my photo-op with Matt and autograph with Richard.

I had about an hour to kill, so I came back to the room and recapped the events leading up to today while a maid cleaned my room. After that, I'm pretty sure I was outta the room for the longest time yet beginning with Sebastian Roche. He was AMAZING! ...pretty much an English Craig Ferguson only hornier. I actually like him better than his character, lol.

Misha came on as he always does, through a question to the guest before him, lmao. But Seb didn't leave easily; he through Misha's "Big D*ck" at him, then Misha pretended to make out with Seb and they were spanking each other. When Seb did leave, he came right back bumped Misha bodily...he was understandably a little distracted for the first few minutes knowing Seb was back there and expecting him to do something at any minute.

The panel was fun, Misha was beautiful and I found the perfect setting on my camera early on in his panel (now I'll be ready for the boys tomorrow! =)

After that was the pictures. They took forever and my day hit a few bumps that lead to my current buzzed-headed-for-drunk state.

The pic with Matt was fine, mostly because it's just a souvenir, something not as important as all the others. Misha...even though I've taken three other photos with him, spent an entire weekend in New Jersey with him, one day in Boston and 3hrs on a boat just the night before...I still managed to freak out.

They checked our tickets in the hall and then wanted to take them in the room. I didn't know I'd need it again and I couldn't find it in my bag...by the time I did, I was already flustered, then the people in front of me didn't leave immediately and the photographer waved  me on anyway, so I got even more frazzled.

I was gonna ask Misha for a hug because I HATE frontal shots, but I didn't. I froze up and I know the picture is hell. I debated getting another one, thought he might think it weird to see me again, went over what I might say: none of it funny or ironic, just facts and BORING and all the things I hate myself for. I'm not witty and he's the most beautiful man I've ever met.

I eventually did buy another one (I'll be spending at least one night in the back of my car now...) and got the hug I wanted.

Then I took a picture with him and Sebastian and that felt weird, idk why...I was in a weird place. The pic with Seb was easy, but so is he, lol.

One day, I'll come back and be crazy but for now...I'm me.

I then had my photo-op with Richard and that was easy, too. I didn't even ask for a hug, it just kinda happened. maybe it's the height all these other guys have on me, Richard's my height and really stands out with the rest of them...

I came back to the room to pee and drop off my camera before hitting the ballroom for autographs. I used my Gold seat to get outta there faster, but maybe I should've sat a bit longer...might've actually had a conversation with Misha that way, or froze up even more.

I wanted to thank him for the amazing night and tell him it was a really nice surprise and maybe bring up Boston from our conversation...

Instead, when he asked me what was going on I said "not much", then got an autograph for one of my friends.

I also got my Gold ticket signed, which was the whole purpose of the signing for me anyway, lol.

I felt really good about the personalized autograph, even though her name was spelled wrong. Seb spelled my name two different ways and neither were right...

Turn back now, really this is pathetic and I didn't wanna get drunk this weekend but that's where this is headed...

I might be talking light of it now, but my behavior really annoys the hell outta me. I was SET on saying what I wanted, then I didn't...I fell back on my usual response to anybody who happens to ask when Misha matters more than almost anybody to me! I'm so set in my defenses that when I wanna actually make a connection with someone, I can't because its too foreign to me and I just stick to what I know.

So, I had a few swigs outta my little Malibu bottle and hit the street for Denny's mozzarella sicks to lessen the chance of a major hangover tomorrow and allow myself to drink more at the party tonight.

I've been back for about an hour, the sticks were cold and the bottle almost gone. I'm thinking some chips, Oreos with peanut butter and finish off the bottle and I'll be good to go. =)

Of course now I kinda wish I hadn't had all that rum, but what's done is done and I should probly drink that thought right outta my head which shouldn't take long. I've been driving for about a week straight and must've lost some of my tolerance for Malibu to get me even the slightest bit drunk...

Hopefully I do better with the boys tomorrow...

day 1

I know it's outta order, but I had to document Misha's Cruise when it was still fresh in my mind since I'd been drinking and it was probly the most amazing experience of my life. <3

Anyway, I stayed up for The Late Late Show and slept way too late. I didn't even hear my first alarm. I figured it was no big deal, only missed Alona Tal and Chad Lindberg but I'd seen Alona in New Jersey and Chad goes to a lot of them so chances are I'd see him again.

I did manage to make it to Richard Speight's panel - sans camera XO...and leave my Cruise ticket there. I was in line for an autograph with Richard and as I was getting my ticket out realized that Misha's wasn't there. I checked my room first since it was closer, then ran back to the auditorium knowing it wouldn't be there but still hoping it was.

It was.

Also, it's a good thing Richard wasn't leaving and there was another chance at an autograph and photo-op today.

So, having missed Richard, I figured I'd go back to the liquor store that had been closed the day before. I got on the elevator before realizing it's direction and when my fellow occupant asked if I was going down, I only loked at him outta the corner of my eye as I would anyone else but had to do a double take.

It was Chad Lindberg.

So I said hi, he asked my name, shook my hand and introduced himself, then he even hit the Lobby button for me on his way out (21st floor ;-).

I smiled the entire way to the liquor store, called Michela because this was bigger than a text but her phone was off. So I texted everybody anyway and called home because texting just wasn't enough. Thsis was HUGE!

I got my small bottle of Malibu to help calm me down to actually talk to Misha a little bit later, then came back to the room to figure out what to wear. I now have my outfits planned for the next two days. =)

That took a little longer than I thought and I didn't have time to eat anything before getting on the bus. So, I took a shot anyway and hoped for the best. It hit me pretty hard at first, but rum isn't all that strong unless it's 100 proof Captain Morgan's mixed with Jack Daniels. Now THAT'S a drink.

But I kinda wanna remember this weekend from more than just blogs, so I'm taking it easy. Plus, I wouldn't be able to finish it off before crossing the border and being stopped once is enough, thank you.

The Malibu started wearing off pretty quick and the Cruise was great, Misha was awesome, made it fun for everybody and we all had an amazing time.

misha's cruise

We left the hotel a little late since people were getting autographs from Richard Speight, Chad Lindberg and Alona Tal. I would have been one of those people, but I lost my ticket for the cruise and quickly dashed around the hotel trying to find it. Thankfully I did. (But apparently there was one left, lol)

The dock wasn't too far and Misha waved from inside the boat as we all piled on and followed him to the top deck.

Now, I've been on a boat twice, maybe three times in my whole life and know for a fact that being inside is not good for me: rooms are not supposed to move. Outside is fine, though and that's where Misha stayed for a good hour or so, making a point to say hi to everyone and have a little conversation.

The water was a little rough here and there, so I either sat in the chairs provided or hung onto the rail. Apparently Misha can get seasick and this wasn't one of his best ideas. But he was fine, I was fine...everything was great. Although I didn't partake in the buffet, even for dessert.

I took alot of pictures, he made his way over to my side, leaned over the rail right next to me and stood in front of me for a while. He smells really good. And he's adorable; can't believe I forgot to mention that.

He went in for the buffet and people followed him. Some stayed on the deck and that's exactly what I did. When they announced cheesecake, I tried, but the water had gotten rough and I high tailed it right back outta there.

Then I went to the bottom beck to see Misha again. By this time it was getting dark and I hadn't spoken a word to Misha, so I went inside and slowly made my way over to him, frequently booking it right back out again because being inside was too much.

Misha was looking for people he hadn't talked to yet and I'd been making my way closer for just that reason. He shook my hand and introduced himself so I did the same. He asked where I was from and he liked that it was Boston. Asked if I'd been to the con there and when I said yes, he tried to recognize me. Said it was great to see me again regardless... Then I told him I drove here and he thought I was kidding. Then congratulated me on the longest drive here. We shook hands again and he said it was great to see me. <3

Craig who? lol

(I'd been thinking of Craig Ferguson off and on the entire trip and it was really starting to kill my Supernatural buzz...guess I was just in the mood for a crude, lascivious perand that is not Misha...or any of my Supernatural guys actually.)

I happen to walk in at just the right times. Some girl had a tattoo on her right hip and Misha actually lifted her skirt and she pulled her panties down just enough to reveal it...and he touched it.

We had one big group hug at the end and I guess I made a friend on the way back.

All in all, a really great night. Then again, not many people can say they spent 3hrs on a boat with an Angel of the Lord; he is NOT God! I love my Cas...

location tour

Cruising around Vancouver by AIR CONDITIONED bus was a great way to start the weekend. I managed to get up in time for departure, met a few fans and enjoyed the ride to Bordertown. I actually felt like an awful fan for not knowing the significance, but once they sad Frontierland, I was good. Still, I should've known.

Having someone else take the wheel for once was such a relief; especially in Vancoucver where all the speed limits are in km...

Anyway, Bordertown was great! That's where they shot Frontierland, obviously, a few scenes from The Benders and All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1. We were allowed inside the buildings and I got pics of everything. We went into the Sheriff's office and right there was the jail cell Dean put the Phoenix in...that place where director Guy Norman Bee provided us with an amazingly hot picture of our favorite cowboy...

After spending about an hour there, we went to a location they hadn't even filmed at yet set for sometime next week for episode 7.05. In that same area, they also filmed the clinic in Croatoan and the church from 99 Problems. I felt a little better about my fangirling when I thought the buildings looked familiar from Croatoan and noticed the church before anything was said. =)

They stopped the bus at the new location and whoever wanted to take a walk to the others was free to do so. Of course, I did. Even got a pic of where Dean helped Cas outta the basement <3

From there, we passed the hazelnut plantation where they filmed Scarecrow, but they were at the front of the bus and didn't get to my section 'til we'd already pretty much passed it.

That was on our way to the s.6 finale where Dean and Bobby were outside Crowley's place. They parked the bus not too far from where the Impala was flipped and Russ pointed out exactly where that was.

He was a great tour guide, by the way.

Next stop was Bobby's junkyard, and on the way we went through an area that looked a little like the street in Sympathy for the Devil where Sam went down a flight of stairs after being told off by a demon possessed Bobby.

No sooner had I thought hat did we come upon a flight of stairs that was missing something...then passed the ones they used.

At the last minute, Russ decided to take us passed the Studio since Bobby's wasn't too far from there.

Bobby's was fun. I don't think anyone would ever be this ecstatic to tour a junkyard.

We passed by the first location they used as Bobby's house which is now a set in the studio. This was on the way to a location used in the episode Jensen directed this season.

Then is was back to hotel, but on the way we passed a few other locations they'd used, one was used about two weeks ago, that one where they lit up an entire block. I recognized the lights and the street felt right.

I didn't get pics due to the traffic, but I'll find the on set ones and post those instead.

I couldn't have been happier to get back to the hotel. It had been a long day, I hadn't slept much the and I was exhausted. It was an amazing experience, though and I'm so glad I did it. <3

the great north...

It's been a while, but I have loads of time now, so I'll finish up the trip to Vancouver and post daily for VanCon...

One thing I forgot to mention last time was that Oklahoma was a big state and annoyed me to no end, but I had a lot of time to think and wasn't all that thrilled to be leaving Kansas. This passion for the state isn't what it once was, but the idea is still the same: To really do something with my life, I need to get outta Mass.

I don't know if it was the small town, the university or the college guys, but I found myself wondering what majors they offer at KU and if it would be worth it to move all the way to Kansas just because it's famous in my Supernatural circle.

The trip to Vancouver solidified the idea...only not so much Kansas anymore (that was short-lived) but maybe outside of LA... The Late Late Show inspired this one, but not like you'd think. It was the next night and Craig had an intern on the show because she opened the fanhatemail with a powdery white substance which he insists on still calling anthrax. Anyway, she goes to school in AZ for television and film studies...it got me thinking. Then on the Supernatural Location Tour today, Russ Hamilton told us about scouting locations and it seems kinda interesting...

Anyway, it's a half-formed thought because its too complicated to add detail to at this point, but I'll see where it goes.

westbound...part 1

I've been meaning to blog, really! But it's just soo exhausting and I just haven't had the time. So, here in California, I've sat down and written a few things. It's not much, but it's something. Its only 9pm here, but that's midnight back east and i can't sit like this anymore. This room lacks character as much as table and chairs...and the kitchen freaks me out. Anyway, here's what happened 'til Texas:

day one...

I guess I can take a quick second here.

My GOD it's early...lol.
